This club is not for profit organization, managed and operated by volunteers, and is affiliated with the national organization, Skate Canada. The purpose of our club is to encourage the instruction, practice, enjoyment and advancement of its members, in all aspects of skating and thereby to promote physical fitness and encourage lifelong participation in skating. Every effort is made to keep our members informed, through, the use of, general meetings, website, emails, WhatsApp group chat forums, facebook etc. However, this is your club and we need your help to make it successful! FUNDRAISING
Fundraising plays a vital role in ensuring the long-term success and growth of the Hinton Figure Skating Club. As a nonprofit organization, the club relies on fundraising to help cover expenses such as ice rentals, coaching, equipment and special events. These efforts not only keep program costs affordable for families but also allow the club to continue providing high-quality training opportunities for skaters of all ages and skill levels. It is crucial that each member actively participates in fundraising initiatives, as collective effort strengthens the club’s financial stability, supports the dreams of its athletes, and helps foster a thriving skating community in Hinton.
